They have a great selection and the staff is very helpful. The only drawback is they have no children's shoes. They also have a selection of socks, scarves and backpacks.

They have "composite toe" Reeboks that are light and comfortable. 100 times better than heavy, klunky, steel toe boots. The two young ladies working at the store were kind and helpful. This place has GREAT selection and service right here in Oroville. Big thumbs up!

Customer service was amazing and she helped me find the perfect hiking shoes. I don't remember her name but she was a black girl with dreads. Great employee. I will be shoe shopping here often.

Went for Vans. Left with K- Swiss Due to an issue with Vans they had to unfortunately stop carrying them. Still a great place to get shoes. Friendly knowledgeable, family owned and they carry name brands with competitive price. Shop local when you can

Nelson’s is a Downtown Oroville gem! I have bought every pair of Birkenstock’s I own from Nelson’s. The service is phenomenal and they take the time to really help you get the right fit! They carry amazing name-brand shoes that you can’t get anywhere else in town. I love shopping at this local shoe store and am so grateful for their amazing service.
